A Hell of a Woman is another typical twisted crime novel from the one of those rare authors who turns pulp fiction into literary magic. Although for me not as powerful or spellbinding as The Killer Inside Me, this novel still manages to shock and impress like much of Jim Thompson’s dark crime work.4/4(40).
